Common Cents Pte Ltd (“Common Cents”, “we”, “us”) runs commoncents.work and seed.commoncents.work. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address (if you choose delivery), the items you bought and the payment status.
- Card and online payments: these are handled by our payment providers, HitPay and Airwallex. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you enquire about a training or consult: the details you enter in the form, such as your name, organisation, email, phone number, number of participants, topics, preferred dates, budget and the causes you would like to support.
- When you apply to or back Seed: the details you submit on seed.commoncents.work.
- When you contact us: the messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- When you browse the site: technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected through server logs and cookies (see below).
How we use it
- To process, deliver or arrange pickup of your order, and to send you order updates.
- To reply to enquiries and arrange trainings, consults and Seed activities.
- To keep the records we must keep for accounting and tax purposes.
- To protect the site against fraud and abuse.
- To report on our causes. We only publish totals and stories that people have agreed to share, never your personal details.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Payment providers (HitPay, Airwallex) to take payment.
- Delivery partners (couriers or SingPost) when you choose delivery, so they can deliver your order.
- Service providers that host and protect our websites and send email for us, such as Cloudflare and our cloud hosting provider.
- Authorities, if the law requires us to.
Some of these providers may store data outside Singapore. When that happens, we use providers that protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
Cookies
We only use cookies that the site needs to work or to stay secure:
- Shop cookies that keep your cart and checkout working.
- Order attribution cookies from WooCommerce that record which page or link brought you to the shop. They stay on our site and are not used for advertising.
- Security cookies from Cloudflare that help block automated attacks.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser. If you do, the cart and checkout may not work.
Some pages show YouTube videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. After that, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to the video.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 5 years, as required for Singapore accounting and tax records.
- Everything else: only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us.
After that we delete the data or make it anonymous.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it, or
- stop using it (withdraw consent). Note that we cannot delete records the law requires us to keep.

Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
